Overall great Chinese food! Although my Asian friends mentioned that it resembled more of American Chinese food rather than being the most authentic option. Fast service and big portion: Their portions are generous, and the pick-up experience is fast. I've ordered ahead several times, and every time, the food has been ready when I arrived at the restaurant, and it's still hot. I liked the consistent quality and the convenience of their efficient service. Mongolian beef was a bit sweet for me, which was the only aspect I would note down.

First trip was a walk-in and the rest have been delivery at home. It is top quality food. No shortcuts. Prices are fair and portions are great for a couple of leftover meals. Every time we've gotten delivery, the food is very hot. Be careful with containers. Sometimes they work themselves loose. Highly recommend the Peking rice and the lemon chicken

Your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It has my favorite attributes of any local Chinese place 1) cheap food 2) super quick service 3) lots of Chinese American decor 4) fried wontons These fried wontons were the best I’ve had yet, crispy, light, and toasty. They didn’t have the layer of oil that comes on some of them and were very crunchy. My partner got the hot tea which was different from any other place too, this one was very floral with lavender and camomile flavors. I’m not a fan of either of those but he loved it! My only complaint would be about the egg roll, it was plain in flavor and didn’t have many aromatics such as carrots, green onion, or garlic. Everything else we ate we enjoyed thoroughly!

Our first visit here yesterday, 5/24/25...Best Chinese buffet ever ! Very large buffet with so many items... from appetizers such as excellent Sushi, Hot & Sour soup and fried wonton strips, egg rolls, potstickers, crab rangoons.. boiled shrimp and baked mussels, and then the best lo mein noodles, fried rice, many kinds of rice & noodles, various shrimp or chicken or beef dishes...and so many dessert items... fresh wedges of watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple, jello, cookies, cakes, icecream... We loved this place...very clean and orderly and the staff were very friendly. Can hardly wait to revisit this place !

We love Golden Dragon. We think it is the best Chinese in Athens. It never fails with how great it is and delivery (even to Oconee County) is fast. Their Wonton Soup is fantastic and my favorite meal is the Shrimp Chow Mei Fun. I get 3 meals out of the one order. I am from Massachusetts, and I am extremely picky about seafood, but their shrimp is always delicious! Their PuPu Platter is fill of wonderful tidbits and our son can’t wait for the wrapped chicken, he claims that part of the PuPu Platter.

I enjoyed a quiet, very pleasant dinner here. I ordered the house soup, which they made mild upon request (as I am a weenie baby). This did not reduce how wonderfully flavorful the soup was! As requested, it wasn't "hot and spicy" but did leave my lips pleasantly tingling, by the end of the meal. My server was friendly and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and plan to return!
